Correction of names in case of: In case of either mother or father or both In case of Child. Change of name in case of Adoption of child.
I. In case of either mother or father or both
The application form can be collected from the RBD Section of CCP or the applicant can produce their written application
- Civil Marriage Certificate of the parent's
- An Affidavit
Application and required documents are submitted in RBD Section
Processing is done within 7 days
On verifying the documents, corrections are done accordingly
One Birth Certificates is issued on payments of fees
- Rs. 100 /- only for spelling error
- Rs. 1000 /- only for correction

II. In case of Child.
The application form can be collected from RBD Section of CCP or the applicant can produce their own written application
- School Leaving Certificate.
- Voters / Election Card.
- Affidavit if requried.
Application and required documents are submitted in RBD Section.
Processing is done within 7 days.

III. Change of name in case of Adoption of child.
- Copy of Court Orders.
- Copy of orders issued by Mamlatdar
The event of birth is already registered at the time of birth in CCP.
Required documents are to be produced at the RBD Section for changing the name of the child and parents wherever applicable.
Registrations are checked and the required changes are made.
